At Qala Banaras, we want you to shop with complete confidence. Every saree is carefully quality-checked and packed with love before it reaches you.
As each saree is handwoven, subtle variations in weave and texture may occur. These natural irregularities add to the authentic beauty and individuality of a true handloom creation.
If for any reason you’re not fully satisfied, we’ve kept the process simple and transparent.
1. Time Window to Raise a Request
• You can request a return within 2 days (48 hours) of delivery.
• Requests raised after 48 hours will not be accepted.
• For damaged or incorrect product claims, an unboxing video must be shared within 24 hours.
2. Conditions for Return Approval
The saree must be:
• Unused & unwashed
• Not draped, worn, or altered
• With original tags, blouse piece & packaging intact
• Free from stains, perfume smell, or damage
If the returned product fails quality inspection, the request may be rejected and shipped back to you.
3. How to Raise a Return or Exchange Request
To initiate a return:

Please include:
• Order ID
• Unboxing video (recommended for faster processing)
• Clear photos/videos (if applicable)
4. Return Pickup Process
• Once approved, we will arrange reverse pickup (if serviceable).
• In non-serviceable areas, customers may need to self-ship.
• Shipping instructions will be shared after approval.
5. Refund Policy
We offer refunds on both Prepaid and COD orders.
Once we receive and inspect the saree:
• Refund will be processed within 5–7 working days after QC approval
• Refund will be issued after deducting actual shipping charges (forward + reverse logistics)
• Prepaid orders → refund to original payment method
• COD orders → refund via bank transfer / UPI
No hidden deductions. No complicated terms.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Product
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please share an unboxing video within 24 hours.
In such cases:
✔ Full refund or free replacement
✔ No logistics deduction
7. Exchange Policy
• You may choose any item of equal or higher value
• Price difference (if any) must be paid before dispatch
• Exchange is subject to product availability
• Delivery timeline: 7–10 business days
• Only one exchange per order is allowed
8. Important Note on Logistics Costs
As a handloom-focused brand, we bear high logistics costs on every shipment. To continue supporting our weavers and maintain quality standards, we deduct only the actual courier charges in case of returns.
